SUMMARY

As the Marketing Communication Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic communication plans that support core business goals and client retention. You will be working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where multi-tasking is critical.  This role will collaborate with client services, IT, sales and other departments to ensure messaging is consistent and client needs are met and oversee content development for clients and their health plan members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop communication strategy for different customer segments including messaging, channels, and method of delivery.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Sr. Director, Member Services, Sales, and Client Services to ensure all communications are consistent and aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the development of clear, concise, strategic messaging targeted to different client groups, and their health plan members, based on the product/solution they have.
  • Leverage client journey mapping, client survey results, and input from Client Services team to improve overall customer experience.
  • Maximize reach and effectiveness by determining the appropriate vehicles such as video, presentations, emails, printed material, etc.
  • Proactively work with management and team leaders to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to establish project scope and timelines.
  • Analyze and report on performance and make recommendations to improve results.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and ensure timelines are met.
  • Lead and influence Client Communications team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Minimum of 5+ years in a Customer Communications role

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Successful track record in implementing multi-channel communication plans with segmented customer groups.
  • Management experience.
  • knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot preferred.
  • Proficient in MS office suite.
  • Strong analytical and business case analysis skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Exemplary communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Problem solver and creative thinker.
  • Healthcare sales or marketing experience a plus.
